Overview
Tuition Enrollment Seasons have a section at the bottom of the View Season page to allow definition of Fixed Start Dates. This allows an Admin to define a list of specific dates when students can start a program and the last date by which they need to register in order to start on each date. When Fixed Start Dates are used, other start date settings such as Wait Period Days, Weekends, Holidays are ignored.

Fixed Start Dates - this section is below the Holidays section. To add a new Start Date and Register By Date, click Add.
Enter the Start Date and the Register By Date. Click Save.
The Register By Date must be prior to or equal to the Start Date.
The Register By Date must be unique for the Season.
The Start Date must be unique for the Season.
Restrict Public to fixed Start Dates only set to Yes
Public site registrants may only select from the list of fixed Start Dates. Once a fixed start date has been defined for the season and Restrict Public to fixed Start Dates is set to Yes, the other settings such as Wait Period Days, Include Weekends, Holidays, will not be applied for that season. If you want to allow registrations throughout your entire season, be sure to add enough Fixed Start Dates to accommodate those registrations.

Below is an example of Fixed Start Dates that provide starting dates throughout the whole 2023-24 school year. Public site registrants may only select from the list of fixed Start Dates.
Public Site Registration
The Requested Start Date field will be a single selection dropdown.
It will list all available Fixed Start Dates beginning with the first available date. If a Fixed Start Date's Register By Date has passed, it will not display for selection. If it is past all of the Register By Dates and therefore there are no more fixed Start Dates, the public site will display that the individual is not eligible for any programs.
Restrict Public to fixed Start Dates only set to No
Public site registrants may select the next available future start date. If the user would like to select a date after that fixed start date, then the Wait Period Days, Include Weekends, Holidays settings will be applied.
Examples:
Below is an example of Fixed Start Dates for the beginning of the 2023-24 school year. After 9/1/2023, there will be no more available fixed start dates. The settings for Wait Period Days, Include Weekends, Holidays will be applied.
Below is an example of dates throughout the entire 2023-24 school year. Students my be registered for the next available start date or the public site user may enter a later date that is within the Wait Period Days, Include Weekends, Holiday settings
Public Site Registration
Public site registration will have the Start Date defaulted to the next available future start date. If the user would like to select a date after that fixed start date, then the Wait Period Days, Include Weekends, Holidays settings will be applied.
Admin Registration
Regardless of Fixed Start Dates, the admin registration should be unchanged. It will continue to default the individual's Start Date to either the Program Start date or the current date. Start Date edits will be allowed.
